Weekly Wrap: 10/7

Swans at Centennial Park

  1. I don’t know if it’s the recent change in weather, or months of burning the candle at both ends finally catching up with me, but I am completely exhausted at the moment. In fact, I’ve said it so many times that ‘exhausted’ has lost all meaning. I’m about ready to fall in a heap, I think. I have booked in a couple of flex days over the next couple of weeks, and I cannot wait.
  2. Sometimes I worry that making myself blog once a week when I don’t really have a whole lot to say is killing my creativity (or what is left of my creativity), but it is certainly a lesson in discipline. … and discipline is something I am lacking when it comes to my writing, so I will press on.
  3. I have booked in another workshop at Kikki K with friends in a couple of weeks, and I am really looking forward to it. I was feeling quite inspired and more grounded after attending the ‘Goals’ workshop, so I’m looking forward to attending the ‘Happiness’ session.
  4. I have finally cobbled together my Bora Bora trip recap (about a year and a half late…). It’s kind of epic, and I have had to break it down into parts. Coming soon…
  5. Mr Posy and I made the drive north again this weekend to visit my aunt and cousins, and my grandparents who were visiting on their way back down to the Sapphire Coast. I stopped in at Flour & Stone and picked up an assortment of pastries to share for morning tea – the (panna cotta) lamingtons are my favourite! While I was up there, I set my grandparents up on FaceTime with my brother and nephew (i.e. their grandson and great grandson!), and I tell you, I thought my heart was going to burst. It was pretty special.
  6. After a fairly wet and miserable week, we have been blessed with glorious weather for the weekend. Even the swans were out for a wander in the sun this morning (pictured).
